The Disability Living Allowance (DLA) can be claimed by individuals with severe: Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Nonverbal Learning difficulties (NLD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Asperger Syndrome (AS), Tourette Syndrome (TS), Cerebral Ataxia and some other learning difficulties. These problems must be severe in nature.



To claim this allowance you will need to have a comprehensive Educational Psychologist Assessment. If this shows positive for dyslexia, or other specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) you may be entitled to claim the Disability Living Allowance.



This allowance is approximately £50 a week and can be used to pay for specialist equipment and tuition. Further information on this benefit, go to: DLA.



The psychologists we use are fully qualified and independent professionals with a great deal of experience of Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Nonverbal Learning Difficulties (NLD), Asperger Syndrome (AS), Tourette Syndrome (TS), Cerebral Ataxia and other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs).
