Dysgraphia Disabled Living Allowance (DLA)

Dysgraphia_LogoThe Disability Living Allowance (DLA) can be claimed by individuals with severe: Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Nonverbal Learning difficulties (NLD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), (AS), , Cerebral Ataxia and some other learning difficulties. These problems must be severe in nature.



To claim this allowance you will need to have a comprehensive Educational Psychologist Assessment. If this shows positive for dyslexia, or other specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) you may be entitled to claim the Disability Living Allowance.



This allowance is approximately £50 a week and can be used to pay for specialist equipment and tuition. Further information on this benefit, go to: DLA.
